Take ownership of building a scalable process for identifying and vetting new material and specialty vendors.Â
Support our efforts to build relationships with external partners who can assist during workload peaks.Â
Help shape the future of our internal technology environment.Â
Depending on evolving priorities of the business, assignments and projects may be changed as discussed and agreed between the manager and intern.Â

1. Vendor Expansion & EvaluationÂ
Take ownership of building a scalable process for identifying and vetting new material and specialty vendors.Â
- Develop a vendor evaluation framework, including criteria, scoring models, and questionnairesÂ
- Research potential vendors across stone, metal, upholstery, glass, and other specialty categoriesÂ
- Conduct outreach (email cold calls) to gather information and assess capabilitiesÂ
- Compile findings into clear summaries and recommendations for leadership reviewÂ
- Maintain an organized vendor database for ongoing useÂ
Support our efforts to build relationships with external partners who can assist during workload peaks.Â
- Research potential outsourcing partners for design, manufacturing, and installationÂ
- Assist in developing a strategy to identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunitiesÂ
- Support the creation of Master Services Agreement (MSA) templates and evaluation criteriaÂ
- Gather and compare partner capabilities, pricing structures, and capacityÂ
- Prepare briefing materials for leadership decision-makingÂ
Help shape the future of our internal technology environment.Â
- Assist in developing a comprehensive IT strategy for hardware, software, and cloud migrationÂ
- Create a hardware lifecycle and migration plan (laptops, workstations, conference rooms)Â
- Research best practices for transitioning from an internal LAN to Office 365/TeamsÂ
- Document current-state systems and propose phased improvement recommendationsÂ
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs and pain pointsÂ

- Job Type: Variable Hour/Part Time. Shift, Mon- Fri, 8:00am - 12:00pm .(with additional hours as needed).
