What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Concept Properties?
We are a small, growth-oriented real estate development company focused on delivering high-quality projects in the greater Boston area, and we are seeking a bookkeeper to manage our company’s daily financial operations. This role is primarily remote, but the bookkeeper will meet with us once or twice a month at our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions across multiple entities
- Manageaccounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Track projected expenses and actual costs to help keep projects on budget
- Assist external accountants with documentation for tax filings and audits
- Maintain an organized and consistent record-keeping system
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate development
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Enterprise
Schedule
- Part-time, flexible 1-5 hours per week
- Hybrid work with in-office meetings 1–2 times per month

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
