Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and soldering techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components
- Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform detailing to enhance vehicle appearance and safety
- Apply auto estimating skills to assess damages accurately and determine necessary repairs
- Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating parts and performing mechanical work as needed
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality benchmarks through meticulous inspections and testing
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair highly preferred
- Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and working with sheet metal
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and airless paint sprayers
- Experience with auto glass replacement, auto estimating, and auto restoration processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair details clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols is essential
