Role Description Vice President Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Girardeau, MO, responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, performance management, and governance for it growing global sales and manufacturing business. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, cash management, internal controls, and long-range financial planning to support growth and profitability. The Vice President Finance partners with senior leadership to evaluate business performance, support strategic decisions with data-driven insights, and optimize capital allocation. The role also involves strengthening internal controls, working with external auditors and financial partners, and building a high-performing finance team that supports the company’s mission and operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting skills to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and related compliance documentation.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate trends, support strategic decisions, and develop actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency with financial software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems is beneficial. Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI experience a plus.
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Ability to operate on-site in Cape Girardeau, MO, and partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and operational teams.
