This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to play a key role in modernizing business systems through SAP CPQ implementation and optimization. Position Overview:
The SAP CPQ Analyst will be responsible for configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP CPQ systems and programs that drive operational excellence. This individual contributor role works closely with business analysts, architects, and end users to solve complex business challenges through custom development and system integration. A strong background in programming, particularly Iron Python, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, develop, and maintain SAP CPQ systems to support business processes and performance goals.
Develop customized functionalities using Iron Python, including product and container triggers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
Work with SQL/MySQL, Knockout JS, HTML, and CSS to create custom, responsive user interfaces and branded templates.
Integrate SAP CPQ with other systems through API handling and web service requests (SOAP UI, Postman, or similar tools).
Manage workflows, pricing configurations, approval management, and user management within SAP CPQ.
Create and optimize CPQ Rules, CTX tags, and Data tags for enhanced functionality.
Contribute to the performance tuning and optimization of CPQ environments.
Prepare design documentation, lead requirement workshops, and recommend effective solution options.
Support business users and technical partners by providing guidance and resolving technical issues.
Stay current with evolving CPQ capabilities and leverage new features to meet business needs.
Demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred (Associate’s Degree with relevant experience considered).
Minimum 3 years of professional programming experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and Iron Python.
At least 3 years of experience customizing and enhancing SAP CPQ, including:
Product and pricing configuration
Custom actions and workflows
Output template customization
UI enhancements using responsive templates
REST API design for transactional and master data exchange
Experience in business application design, development, and implementation.
Strong data management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service mindset.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative technical team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS).
Hands-on experience with SAP CPQ 2.0 or similar enterprise CPQ platforms.
Background in Agile development environments.
Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact, value-added solutions to business users.
