Position Overview:
The Audit Manager will lead audit, review, and compilation engagements from start to finish. This includes planning, fieldwork, technical oversight, and final reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of GAAP, experience working with privately held companies, and the ability to guide and mentor team members through complex engagements.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with clients, and working as part of a supportive, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from initial planning through completion
Apply strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation
Research and analyze financial information, audit issues, and industry-specific considerations
Build trusted client relationships and provide clear, actionable recommendations
Supervise, train, and mentor staff on audit procedures and best practices
Develop an understanding of each client’s operations and business model
Support additional accounting or advisory services as needed
Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and quality
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
CPA certification or CPA eligibility preferred
Two to four years of audit experience in a public accounting environment
Experience working with privately held companies
Background in audit reviews and compilations
Experience in any of the following industries is highly valued:

Manufacturing

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative, flexible approach
Preferred Experience:
Experience with partnership audits
Familiarity with industry-specific reporting requirements
Additional exposure to advisory or consulting engagements
