Concentra is seeking a full-time Center Medical Director to lead operations at its on-site clinic located in Phoenix, AZ. The Center Medical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care, lead a multidisciplinary team to meet organizational objectives, and ensure compliance with medical policies and standards. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operational and administrative tasks, providing mentorship to medical staff, collaborating with leadership to formulate strategies to enhance patient outcomes, conducting and supervising medical evaluations, and ensuring seamless patient care delivery. This is an on-site leadership position with an emphasis on fostering an exceptional patient and employee experience.
- Strong medical skills and experience in occupational health, primary care, or a related field.
- Leadership and managerial skills, including experience in overseeing clinical teams and managing the operations of a healthcare facility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing strategies to optimize clinical and operational performance.
- Current and unrestricted medical license and board certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Family Medicine or Occupational and Environmental Medicine).
- Experience with workplace injuries, employee health programs, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
