Conair LLC is searching for experienced Warehouse Associates to enhance our team. Please indicate the position and shift you prefer when applying for this role.
POSITION: Warehouse Lead
DEPARTMENT: Shipping South
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Coordinates work assignments for shipping, receiving, unloading, palletizing and placing of product of inbound/outbound domestic shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of accuracy and productivity
DUTIES RELATED BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
· Review daily schedule requirements and assign personnel accordingly
· Ensure shipping/receiving documentation is processed accurately and promptly
· Ensure efficient and safe operations of all material handling equipment
· Maintain product locator system and ensure optimal efficiency and utilization of space
· Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and the jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
· Maintain an accountability of employee performance
· Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all preparation and data entry of receiving and material movement documentation
· Coordinate activity with other departments as work flow increases or decreases
· Load/Unload and check in product for warehousing, palletize by SKU and lot numbers, verify quantities
· Prepare samples for Quality control inspection after production
· Transfer product from, to, or within the warehouse
· Review existing inventories for product consolidation and consolidate where necessary
· Prepare corresponding paperwork for the movement of all product to maintain proper inventory
· Maintain integrity of inventory
· Perform general housekeeping duties as required
· Follow established safety rules and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
· Must be employed by Conair for at least 6 months
· Working knowledge of SAP, WMS and/or Manhattan Systems
· Previous leadership experience is preferred
· Working knowledge of Outlook (Email), MS Word, MS Excel
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Extremely customer service oriented
· Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
· Team Player a must
· Able to follow directions accurately
· Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, regularly throughout shift
· Standing/Bending for long periods throughout shift
· Walking long distances throughout the shift
· Typing functions to enter order information
· Flexible hours a must
· Overtime a must
