How You Will Affect Our Business
You will coordinate quality assurance activities, such as audits, training, and purchasing. You will provide technical training to QA personnel and ensure the HACCP plan's CCPs follow procedure. You will conduct GMP and sanitation audits, partner with operations personnel on quality and safety issues, place product on hold, release, or disposition while following company procedure, coordinate resolution of customer complaints, and ensure SPC Management practices are followed.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- You have a BS Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other related degree required. Experience in lieu of education requirements.
- 3-5 years related experience in the food industry.
- Experience with Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe practices.
- Experience with FDA and USDA.
