Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

At our Quincy, MI facility, we proudly produceHebrew National Hot Dogs, known for their premium quality and kosher standards. We?re looking for a skilledIndustrial Maintenance Technicianto help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You?ll Do:

• Performpreventative maintenanceacross a wide range ofindustrial machineryandproduction equipment.
• Handlerepairs andtroubleshootingto minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Work with systems including:
  • Pumps
  • Motors
  • Gearboxes
  • Conveyors
  • Chillers
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • Other industrialproduction equipment
• Operate withinmultiple disciplines of maintenance, adapting to the needs of the facility.
• Respond tosound alertsfrom equipment and communicate effectively viaradio.
• Walk short distances throughout the plant to perform tasks and inspections.
• Maintainexcellentattendance, work therequired shift, and be available forovertimeas needed.

Qualifications:

• 1 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Experience inhydraulics,pneumatics, mechanical and electrical drive/control systemsrelating to production and facilities equipment maintenance.

• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

• Mechanical skillsused to trouble-shoot equipment is required.

• Understanding ofLean Manufacturingprinciples.

• 2 years of basic computer

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and Must have at least 1 year of current work history in the past 4 months with no break.

• Ability to lift 50-80 pounds.

• Wear all required PPE.
