Position Title: Sales Representative (Aftermarket Parts)
Position Reports to: Branch Manager
General Purpose:
The position is primarily responsible for sales of the company’s ‘aftermarket parts’ within the given sales region. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales under the direction of the branch manager. This person will assist the branch manager in identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Con-Tech Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a salesperson with great leadership qualities and the willingness to work as a team and as an individual!
Essential Duties:
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Travel within assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers
- Maintain and improve relationships with customers
- Meet or exceed new business sales goals
- Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision-makers
- Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly
- Regularly meet with the branch manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers
Other Duties:
- Travel 25% - 50%
- Assists branch manager in forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
Qualifications:
- Sales experience required.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner
- Must be organized with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and possess a strong phone presence
