Position Title: On Site Construction & Maintenance Position
Position Reports to: Facilities Manager
General Purpose:
This position is primarily responsible for maintenance of the manufacturing site and buildings under the direction of the Facilities Manager. The role will perform a wide range of tasks including construction, operation of equipment, and maintenance of facilities.
Essential Duties:
- Construction Knowledge and Experience
- Able to Operate various machinery and heavy equipment.
- Able to communicate via print and verbally with others
- Follow instructions and implement constructions plans
- Maintenance of Manufacturing Systems
- Perform Troubleshooting of Equipment
- Perform Buildings and Grounds maintenance/up-keep as needed.
- General Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to understand production related issues and be able to proactively address these issues.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all plant area processes.
- Accurately read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Math Skills
- Mechanical Skills
- Able to list 50lbs
- Ability to read blueprints
- Forklift certified
