Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Carmel, NY. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate various phases of construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, liaising with vendors and subcontractors, leading inspections, and optimizing logistics for material and equipment delivery. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and address any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Familiar with civil construction & public, state & municipality work
- Strong expertise in Project Management
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders
- Prepare project submittals, schedules, change orders and project requisitions
- Close out documents and procedures for completed work
- Attend project meeting (sometimes on-site) and document meeting minutes
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Experience with Logistics Management and coordination of materials and resources
- Skills in conducting and managing Inspection processes to maintain quality and standards
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in relevant project management software is preferred - Procore, Adobe, Excel, Google Drive
