Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stockton, CA, for an Electrical Estimator. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, conducting detailed takeoffs, analyzing project specifications, and coordinating with project teams and clients. This individual will also develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and comprehensive bids. The role requires close collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in preparing cost estimates, detailed takeoffs, and bid proposals
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design, construction, and relevant codes and regulations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with project teams, clients, and vendors
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in industrial or water/wastewater electrical projects is a plus
