Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently while providing outstanding customer service
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS for accurate transactions and cash handling
- Manage food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment
- Handle cash register operations, including cashiering and retail math calculations
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee industry preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation, and serving standards in a café or retail setting
- Experience with food industry standards related to food handling and food service operations is advantageous
