About The Role
We are seeking a high-caliber
Senior SAP Project Manager
with robust
SAP FICO
expertise to lead our enterprise-level
SAP S/4HANA migration
initiatives. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between financial business strategy and technical execution, taking ownership of the project lifecycle from business case through to final implementation.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on SAP Finance knowledge with exceptional governance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management capabilities to ensure delivery remains on scope, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery
Lead large-scale
SAP S/4HANA migration
programs from early-stage business case development through deployment and hypercare.
Project Governance
Oversee core project management functions including resource allocation, project planning, execution, vendor management, quality assurance, and change control.
Financial Tracking
Perform actual vs. planned financial analysis at the project level, manage project budgets, and accurately forecast the total cost of completion.
Performance Metrics
Develop, monitor, and submit weekly status reports tracking critical project health indicators, including
ETC, EAC, SPI, and CPI .
Schedule Management
Build, maintain, and track progress on resource-loaded schedules, monitoring milestones and critical dependencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Facilitate governance meetings and workshops with both technical and non-technical resources to document requirements, establish timelines, and monitor actionable tasks.
Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to prevent project slippage.
Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of
10 years
of experience in large-scale
IT Project/Program Management , with at least
10 years
dedicated specifically to managing
SAP environments .
SAP S/4HANA Expertise
Proven track record of successfully leading complex
SAP S/4HANA migration
or transformation projects.
SAP FICO Knowledge
Deep functional and technical understanding of
SAP FICO
across both legacy
ECC
and
S/4HANA
environments.
Finance Transformation
Strong familiarity with
SAP Central Finance , financial close processes, regulatory reporting, audit controls, and compliance standards.
Stakeholder Management
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner closely with Finance executives, business sponsors, and system integrators.
Metric Mastery
Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing project performance metrics ( ETC, EAC, SPI, CPI ) and managing resource-loaded project schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Project Management Professional ( PMP ) certification.
Certified
SAP S/4HANA Finance
professional.
Prior experience managing finance-centric global rollouts or large financial system integrations.
