The Golang Developer role is a contract position based on-site in Plano, TX. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications using the Go programming language. Responsibilities include debugging and troubleshooting code, integrating back-end services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and following best coding practices to ensure optimal performance. The developer will also participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance where needed.
- Strong programming skills in Golang, with a solid understanding of Go frameworks and libraries
- Experience in back-end development, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design
- Proficiency in database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, test, and optimize code
- Strong knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Plano, TX, collaborating effectively within a team
