Title: Assembler - Contractor - B (Electronic Assembler)
Location: Clifton, NJ 07014
Duration: 6 - 12 Months (Extendable)
Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM
What is a typical workday?
Working on wire harness assembly, some circuit board assembly.
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Must- Haves (Hard Skills)
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must be able to follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner
• Basic computers skills to complete timecards and view some of the schematics and work instructions
• Cable harness assembly experience.
Nice-To- Haves (Hard Skills)
• IPC 610 and or J-STD experience or certification could be helpful
Education:
• HS Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience/ /Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
