Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst III to provide financial guidance and analytical support related to general ledger administration, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, compliance, and financial systems support. This role supports monthly and annual close processes, audit activities, tax-related reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial systems including general ledger and online journal entry systems
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, statements, tax certifications, and surveys
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries
• Analyze accounting trends, budget variances, and financial data
• Assist with budgeting, cost monitoring, inventory, and asset management activities
• Support compliance, audit, and financial close processes
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Interface with internal teams and external agencies

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with financial reporting and closing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer and financial systems skills
• Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with accounting emphasis preferred
• OR
• AA degree with 10 years of accounting, auditing, or finance experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of accounting, auditing, or finance experience
• Experience with financial close processes, compliance audits, and financial audits is required.

Pay: $45.00 - $62.00 per hour

Experience:

• GAAP and accounting principles: 8 years (Preferred)
• financial reporting and closing processes: 8 years (Preferred)
• compliance audits, and financial audits: 6 years (Preferred)
