SALARY: Dependent on years of teaching experience and certification
Salary starting at $43,044
WILL HONOR 100% OF PRIOR FULL-TIME TEACHING YEARS
Eligible school for Teacher Loan Forgiveness
Merit Pay, Sick Day Buyback Program, and Tuition Reimbursement per CEA Contract
AVAILABLE: 2025-26 School Year
CERTIFICATION: Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates ability to meet the needs of diverse learners
Demonstrates a clear understanding of literacy instruction
Demonstrates skills in the use of technology for integration of curriculum and reporting
Experience in differentiated instruction
Preferred experience or training in:
Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS)
Administer and progress Monitoring Acadience
Experience with Direct Instruction Programs
Positive Behavior Support
CHAMPs
Guided Reading Instruction and 120 minute Language Arts block
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff
Participate in the school improvement process
Instructional planning consistent with essential job functions and curriculum
Utilize elements of instruction
Collaborate with teachers to promote student achievement
Grow professionally in the areas of change
Willing to be trained in Leader in Me building-wide initiative
Work with Leader in Me administrators, leadership teams, and staff to ensure “Lighthouse” quality results
Champion and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
Other duties as assigned by administration
