Job Overview
We are seeking a personable and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with POS systems. This role involves providing attentive service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Experience in fine dining, hospitality, or nightclub settings is preferred. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, upselling menu items, and supporting overall restaurant operations to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cash handling procedures
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest relations and guest services
• Support opening or closing duties as assigned, including sanitation and setup tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Hospitality background with experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous night club or nightlife experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
