Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a spotless environment.
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are stocked and well-maintained.
- Use proper floor care techniques to vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold health standards.
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning when necessary, including deep cleaning of carpets or upholstery.
- Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to prioritize daily duties and ensure guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on hotel housekeeping preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for thorough sanitation.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
- Ability to handle custodial equipment safely and follow health and safety guidelines diligently.
