Job DescriptionCOMSOL, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can handle a variety of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and policy implementation. This is an in-office position, M-FPrimary Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
- Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
- Act as liaison for benefits programs and answer employee questions regarding benefits and policies
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing employee inquiries and assisting with workplace investigations when needed
- Coordinate employee training, performance review processes, and development initiatives
- Assist in developing, updating and communicating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
- Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data in HR systems
- Help plan employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and HR compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to build rapport throughout the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with professional discretion
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned projects and workflows
- Current eligibility to work in the U.S. No sponsorship for employment-based visas or F-1 visa holders will be offered for this position
- Experience with Paylocity and/or BambooHR
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
- Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.
