Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to lead strategic business development with Walmart.
This role will own customer relationships, develop joint business plans, execute growth strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to expand distribution, optimize assortments, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has experience managing major retail accounts within the toy, collectibles, consumer products, or related industries and understands how to successfully grow business with Walmart.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans for Walmart.
- Manage day-to-day customer relationships with merchant and replenishment teams.
- Drive assortment expansion, promotional planning, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
- Analyze sales performance, inventory, and category trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with internal Sales Support, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure strong execution.
- Prepare customer presentations, line reviews, and business updates.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to recommend growth initiatives.
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.
- Negotiate commercial programs and deliver against revenue and profitability objectives.
- Travel as needed to support customer meetings and business reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of Key Account Management experience supporting large national retailers.
- Experience managing Walmart business is strongly preferred.
- Experience within toys, collectibles, consumer products, games, gifts, lifestyle products, or related categories is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Walmart merchandising processes and retail planning.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using sales and retail data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
