Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Contract)
Duration: 18-month contract
Pay: $73/hr W2
Schedule: First Shift, Monday–Friday (typically start between 7:30 AM–9:00 AM)
Position Overview
Supporting a Quality Engineer who has been assigned to a major documentation system migration project scheduled to go live in September next year. The contractor will ensure ongoing quality activities continue without disruption while the permanent QE supports the implementation project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support both Product Quality and Supplier Quality activities (approximately 50/50, though currently more supplier-quality focused)
• Manage manufacturing quality issues and engineering changes
• Support supplier quality investigations, corrective actions, and issue resolution
• Drive quality decisions and provide data-driven recommendations, even in challenging situations
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while being able to work independently
• Prioritize multiple competing quality issues to support business continuity and production needs
• Participate in CAPA, non-conformance investigations, validation activities, and PPAP processes

Required Experience:
• 3 years of Quality Engineering experience
• Experience with:
o Validation activities
o PPAP
o Non-Conformance (NC) processes
o CAPA
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (strongly preferred)
• Medical Device industry experience preferred
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus, but not required
• Candidates from aerospace, semiconductor, and other manufacturing industries will be considered if skills are transferable.
