What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Expert - Strategic Sourcing Specialist position at Comrise?
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Expert to join our team in strategic sourcing and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supplier management, and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, creating, and processing timely requisitions and purchase orders for raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and services. They will also research and identify prospective suppliers of assigned categories, ensuring commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all procurement transactions.
The Procurement Expert will execute RFPs and RFIs, work with the Quality Team for inspection upon delivery, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers. They will measure suppliers' performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level, communicating daily with suppliers and organizing meetings as needed to resolve supply issues.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP for purchasing materials and goods, executing reports from within SAP, and exporting data to analyze. They will maintain the SRM system for procurement requirements within this system.
