Job Description
HireArt is helping our client find an Integration Software Engineer to join its team and support the development and validation of next-generation automotive software platforms.
In this role, you’ll develop and integrate software used for simulation, testing, and validation across multiple environments. You’ll collaborate closely with internal platform teams and external customers, contribute within an Agile development framework, and help deliver production-ready vehicle applications.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, adaptable, and comfortable working at the intersection of software, hardware, and systems engineering in an automotive environment.
As a Integration Software Engineer, you'll:
- Develop and integrate software for simulation, testing, and validation environments, including SIL, HIL, and VIL systems.
- Participate in Agile Scrum development while applying systems engineering principles.
- Build strong partnerships with Arene platform teams and adapt as tools and platforms evolve.
- Use, evaluate, and provide feedback on internal tools and platforms to improve usability and performance.
- Train and collaborate closely with customers to deliver production-ready vehicle applications.
Ideal candidate profile
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
● 5 years in automotive
● Understanding of typical ECU hardware architecture and familiarity with standard vehicle architecture.
● Experience with embedded system and hardware diagnostics.
● Proficiency with Linux Kernel module and device tree modifications and troubleshooting.
● Proficiency in CI/CD practices for automotive testing environments.
● Experience with automotive build systems, communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, Flexray), development using safety standards like ISO26262.
Daily tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop software for simulation, testing, integration, and validation, including SILS, HILS and VILS.
● Participate in Agile Scrum development, using Systems Engineering principles.
● Build strong partnerships with Arene teams and adapt to changes as the platform evolves
● Use, evaluate, and give feedback on tools and platforms built by Arene teams
● Train and work closely with customers to deliver next-generation vehicle applications for production vehicles.
Required skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● At least 3-5 years experience in software development in compiled and interpreted languages: C/C and Python
● Experience in embedded software in robotics or automotive
● Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with effective management of priorities and deadlines
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Salary : $70 - $73
