Comrise is looking for the following candidate to join an Operations Training team for a leader in the autonomous vehicle industry! ππ¨
In this role, youβll translate complex business needs into engaging, effective learning solutions in partnership with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders. Youβll design and deliver impactful training programs that enable teams to operate and service products efficiently and at scale.
π° Compensation & Location
- Pay Rate: $67.78/Hourly π΅
- Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite) π
- Travel: Up to 15% as needed to support training initiatives across business locations.
π The Role
As an Instructional Designer, you will lead the design and development of impactful, measurable learning courses and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Design: Design educational content adhering to instructional design principles, ensuring learning objectives align with business objectives.
- Curricula Co-creation: Partner with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create dynamic curricula for live classrooms, workshops, and e-learning experiences.
- Interactive Learning: Develop interactive and immersive online learning experiences using advanced eLearning authoring tools, focusing on content structure and clarity.
- Iterative Improvement: Utilizing AGILE methodologies, regularly assess training solutions for quality, scalability, and impact to drive measurable outcomes.
- Brand Standards: Create content that adheres to company brand guidelines and style guides while looking for ways to streamline production efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate planning sessions and translate input from multiple leaders into clear, actionable instructional strategies.
π― Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced instructional designer with a strong foundation in adult learning principles and a sharp eye for content quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6β8 years of instructional design experience, with a focus on blended learning (OLT, ILT, and vILT).
- Industry Preference: Autonomous Vehicle and/or Operations training experience is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia or Google Video, Vyond, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong communicator and creative problem solver who brings curiosity, clarity, and empathy to learning design.

A portfolio of instructional design work samples is required for this role. Please include examples that demonstrate your approach to content design, learner experience, and instructional strategy.
