Maintenance Technician Mechanical and Automation

Position Responsibilities:

• Reading mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical prints.
• Use of micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements.
• Fundamentals of AC and DC electrical circuits. 
• Electrical panel building.
• Ability to identify the manufacturer and model number of a specific component and be resourceful enough to obtain necessary documentation.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems in automated equipment (how does a solenoid valve control a cylinder and how does the PLC control the solenoid valve).
• Experience with automated assembly equipment should include working with PLC’s, servo motion, vision systems, and pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuators.
• Knowledge of building electrical, single and 3-phase.
• Ability to use and work on lifts and platforms.
• Mechanical background/skilled with hand and power tool operations. 

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

• High School Diploma, Some College and/or Certification
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to use hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools.
