The Team Leader role manages delivering operational outcomes and service excellence for a regional portfolio of Investor relations products with a focus on Dividend Payments across multiple business lines designed to support our clients across US and Canada. You will be responsible for supervising US and Canadian staff to deliver our Dividend Payment service offerings, including output production, system setup and associated payment parameter options, funding requests and premier delivery of all payments to client base. Immediate focus will be supporting and delivering end to end process to achieve maximum efficiencies.

The Team Leader, Service Delivery Operations will directly supervise others, and will provide support and guidance to members of the team. This will involve undertaking a mentoring role, coordinating tasks and/or checking on completion and quality of work. The role will also involve supporting continuous improvement projects which will be medium/large in scope and size.

- Establishes credibility throughout the organization with leadership, management, and innovation.
- Provides functional expertise in solving specific business or client requirements. Participates in meetings with internal and external clients, advocating Computershare’s stance on compliance and business requirements.
- Collaborates internally and externally to ensure the successful day to day delivery of all activities and services carried out by their department, confirming that all client and regulatory requirements are met.
- Facilitate team weekly briefings to discuss workloads for the week and where appropriate share with stakeholders

Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university and/or at least 5 years’ experience in leading teams with applicable functional expertise;
- An understanding of the general concepts, various technologies, and metrics required to ensure successful day-today management of this department;
- Business-focused leadership skills;
- Stakeholder management expertise;
- Understanding of and experience in business unit financial management and low-level accounting principles and practices;
- Strategic thinking capability combined with tactical execution skills;
- Experience working with stock market and securities, and familiar with broader financial industry;
- Experience virtually leading and managing specialist teams across multiple sites; and
- Experience working with various software development and project methodologies to achieve change.
