Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Technical Support specialist to provide advanced IT assistance within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in computer management, networking, and software troubleshooting, along with excellent customer service and communication skills. This role involves resolving technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless operation of various operating systems and hardware components across the company. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting end-users and maintaining IT systems critical to our business operations.
Duties
- Provide second-level support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving operating systems such as Windows.
- Manage computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
- Support network infrastructure including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and other security measures.
- Utilize IT support tools to document incidents and track resolutions.
- Assist users with desktop support tasks including software installation, configuration, and updates for Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer management systems and IT infrastructure components.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to provide clear guidance and updates on ongoing issues.
Requirements
- Experience in technical support roles such as desktop support, network troubleshooting, or IT support functions.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and LAN/WAN configurations.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers and network devices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users at all levels of technical understanding.
- Customer service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.
- Reliable transportation. You will be required to travel to client sites.
- Knowledge of Office 365
- Knowledge of Windows Exchange and Active Directory
