Oracle Financials consultant, integration, upgrade

We have been retained by our client with teams working onsite near downtown Houston, to deliver a senior-level Oracle Financials Consultant, on a contract basis.

• 100% in the office near downtown Houston. 40 hour work weeks. M-F, some flexible hours.

We seek to hire an ORACLE Financials consultant for Oracle eBusiness Systems, release R12.2.10. Role requires strong knowledge of Oracle Financials or Oracle Projects and integrations with Inventory, EAM, OTL, AP, and FA. Experience in modules alone is insufficient without integration experience in Oracle Projects or Oracle integration experience.

Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules, Oracle Financials or Oracle Projects. This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide Technical support for developing and supporting customizations and extensions in Oracle Financials (Oracle Fixed Assets) or Oracle Projects. This position will support business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team. Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs. Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable). Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle. Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions. Tracking deliverables of features and provide reporting to management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:



At least 5 years of techno-functional experience with Project Costing, Accounting, Project Billing and Integrations with Inventory, Enterprise Asset Management, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable modules.

At least 5 years of techno-functional working experience with EBS Data model

Programming in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow and BI Publisher

DESIRED: Apex, accounting knowledge or accounting degree. Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).

We seek to hire an ORACLE integration consultant for Oracle eBusiness Systems, release R12.2.10. Role requires strong knowledge of Oracle Projects and integrations with Inventory, EAM, OTL, AP, and FA. Experience in modules alone is insufficient without integration experience in Oracle Projects or integrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Remediating and validating EBS application extensions and customizations in the areas of Oracle Financials, Oracle Fixed Assets or Oracle Projects.


• Working with Oracle Support to find a solution that is feasible and acceptable to implement.


• Collaborating with IT Teams and business department personnel to complete EBS upgrade from Release 12.2.10 to 12.2.15

Keep in mind: we need someone to assist with (Oracle eBusiness System) EBS upgrade from Release 12.2.10 to 12.2.15

Interview Process: Flexible interview process (video based if the candidate is unable to attend in-person). The job requires that the candidate be available on-site Monday through Friday at offices near the downtown Houston area.

Employment Type: Contract, 6 months or longer Direct hire after the contract is an option.



Hourly Rate: $80 89 / PER HOUR w-2
