This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area for an individual serving as Founder, CEO, Developer, Actor, Director, Writer, and Owner. The role involves overseeing organizational operations, strategic decision-making, leading initiatives and events, and managing the continuous development of CSPA projects and workshops. Responsibilities also include acting as the public representative for the organization, directing community engagements, writing communication materials, and developing new tools or platforms to support the student community. Collaborating with students, faculty, and industry professionals will also be central to the role.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management skills
- Proficiency in software development, including experience with Git, version control systems, debugging, and coding with languages like C , Java, or Rust
- Experience with creative and technical writing, content creation, and communication
- Demonstrated skills in community engagement, presentation, and public speaking
- Capability in event planning, directing workshops, and navigating educational or industry topics
- Collaboration skills to work with students, peers, and industry professionals effectively
- Passion for education, mentorship, and building a thriving academic community
- Familiarity with tools and technologies like Vim, Visual Studio Code, and coding interview preparation platforms is an advantage
