- Contract role
- Remote work: Team in Philadelphia, PA
- $40 per hour on W2
- Using SSH/HTTP, collect, analyze, and aggregate network device information from remote equipment using device CLI and/or web GUI.
- Using Microsoft 365, organize and format collected device information to complete the information upload into tools and databases.
- Manage, manipulate, and audit Billing System, Inventory, and platforms for accurate data connection and alignment with other tools and platforms.
- Deploy network configuration changes using SSH/HTTP to update or document network equipment.
- Follow defined processes and procedures to complete planned tasks. Be able to report back progress and document any issues or exceptions found.
- Complete limited network-based troubleshooting on encountered issues as needed and escalate problems that cannot be resolved.
- Update existing equipment documentation and configuration as needed based on findings from information gathered.
- Work with other team members to maintain weekly reports on task processes and any issues encountered.
- Specific knowledge and 3 to 5 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers
- Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing
- Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
- Experience with protocols
- Firewall experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.
- Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers
- Certifications such as (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
