Key Responsibilities
- Oversee live broadcast operations, including switching live events to and from air.
- Manage master control functions during live broadcasts.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and transmission issues, escalating to broadcast engineering as needed.
- Coordinate and execute live event workflows from remote global locations.
- Ensure successful on-air delivery of live event channels for major client broadcasts.
- Conclude events and verify proper shutdown procedures post-broadcast.
- Maintain communication with engineering teams for issue resolution and operational continuity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience in live broadcast operations or master control environments.
- Strong knowledge of live event switching and signal flow.
- Proficiency in network fundamentals, troubleshooting, and transmission systems.
- Experience with remote live event support and global broadcast workflows.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes live environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and escalation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with F1 racing broadcasts or major sports event production.
- Experience with broadcast automation systems and video routing platforms.
- Knowledge of IP-based transmission technologies.
