What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Computer Cable Company, Inc.?
Overview
We are seeking a part-time Office Administrator to join our team and assist with the daily operation. As this is a part-time position we are flexible on the days/hours worked to accommodate the applicant's personal schedule/responsibilities.
An ideal candidate would:
- Have previous office experience in the trades such as low voltage, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Be familiar with Sage (or another similar accounting software) for tasks such as purchase orders, invoicing, receivables, etc.
- Support the sales staff with quotes, requesting certificates of insurance, applying for permits, bid submittals, etc.
- Receive deliveries and become familiar with materials to eventually assist with kitting projects.
- Assist with coordinating the schedule for our direct labor force.
- Organize events, meetings, and training sessions to support team development and company initiatives.
- Maintain filing systems and other clerical duties such as data entry and document preparation.
