Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM (4x10 hours)/ 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning)

The Infrastructure Engineer (Computer Support Associate) provides essential deskside support for the Waterloo, IA location, ensuring the smooth operation of the computing environment. This role involves hands-on support for desktop hardware, printers, conference rooms, and IT assets, working within defined procedures and knowledge base (KB) documentation. Candidates will also be responsible for asset management, documentation, and basic troubleshooting using tools like ServiceNow and Asset Center.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks such as:
- Imaging computers
- Replacing printer toner and maintenance items
- Disposing of outdated assets
- Resolving ServiceNow tickets
- Maintain and update documentation:
- Process logs, asset records, inventory, contact lists, etc.
- Support conference room technology and onsite desktop hardware
- Follow unit-specific KB articles and procedures for problem resolution
- Maintain IT equipment and supplies, track inventory, and interact with vendors
- Recognize and resolve problems using documented solutions; escalate non-standard issues
- Occasionally drive a John Deere Gator within the factory (post-training)
- Travel between Waterloo-area sites as needed (personal vehicle required)
- Education:
- High School diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of IT support experience preferred
- Recent college graduates with strong technical foundations may be considered
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of networking and computing concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, web tools, and intranet functions
- Knowledge of IT security practices and policies
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow and Asset Center preferred
- Ability to follow detailed KB articles and unit-specific procedures
