Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) is looking for a full-time HR Generalist to join our growing team. The Office/Facility Manager role oversees CPI offices or facilities at three or more different locations across the United States. As the CPI facilities Manager, you will work with on site staff to ensure that our offices and facilities are appropriate for the work being conducted at each site, that they are safe and efficient spaces for our employees, and that they are appropriately provisioned to support daily operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee all building functions and ensure the safety and efficiency of facilities.Collaborate with building management to ensure proper upkeep of physical structures and systems, including implementing preventative maintenance programs.Support all aspects of office or facility relocationManage facility lease renewal, subleasing, and lease terminations.Manage budgets related to facility operations and maintenance.Support customers in managing remote research and development facilitiesCoordinate with and manage external contractors and vendorsProvide front desk support for CPI headquarters in Springfield, VA.Ensure general office supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.Qualifications/Education/Experience: Five to ten years of building or office management expertiseStrong leadership, business, and administrative skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloadsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHistory of taking initiative and working independently.Strong relationship-building skillsProactive approach to problem-solvingCustomer service oriented, collaborative work style with proven ability to work effectively across departments.Expert knowledge of office software and technology.About CPIWe love science!
