Job Summary
The Warehouse Equipment Assistant is responsible for testing, validating, and stocking electronic devices to ensure proper functionality. This role involves hands-on inspection, troubleshooting faulty units, and maintaining accurate records of daily device checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Open devices from cartons and prepare them for testing.
- Install batteries and check LED sequences to determine device functionality.
- Identify working devices, remove batteries, replace covers, and rebox for cking.
- Quarantine faulty devices and assist with problem-solving to determine issues.
- Track and document the number of devices reviewed daily.
- Follow established working instructions and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures.
- Reliable and able to work independently in a warehouse environment.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, device testing, or quality control.
- Familiarity with handling electronic devices and battery installation.
