JOB SUMMARY This is a hands-on Software Development Specialist role focused on the analysis, design, and development of application capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience with the Java/J2EE ecosystem, be well-versed in SAML-based Single Sign-On and JWT technologies, and have a proven ability to design and develop highly available, mission-critical applications. The role requires a strong sense of urgency, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to work independently with guidance from leadership. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, unit test, and document application functionality using Agile development practices. Support application production installs. Participate in the entire Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Interface with product owners, business analysts, and deployment teams. Required Qualifications 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java, Microservices development, JUnit, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). 7-10 years of hands-on experience in system design principles. 7-10 years of demonstrated experience with unit testing and mocking strategies. Must show a sense of urgency and take end-to-end ownership of tasks. Must be a self-starter and work independently with direction from a Principal Engineer or Engineering Manager. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education: Bachelors Degree
