Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Coordinate patient care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient care quality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage unit staffing, including scheduling and allocation of resources.
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns and complaints.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of patient care standards and practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Advanced certifications in nursing or healthcare management.
- Experience in managing a unit or department within a healthcare facility.
