About the Role
The Quality Technician I supports daily Quality Assurance operations to ensure that nonconforming products are identified, contained, and prevented from reaching customers. This role plays a key function in product inspection, auditing, and process improvements to sustain and elevate overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform product audits and inspections following established quality-assurance procedures.
- Support investigations for nonconforming materials and communicate findings to authorized vendors.
- Collaborate with management and team members to resolve new or complex quality issues.
- Assist with implementing new product quality plans and process improvements.
- Understand and follow technical requirements within defined quality frameworks.
- Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 0–3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related fields
- Ability to learn and apply technical information
- Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitask environment
- Reliable attendance, teamwork, and time-management skills
