Job Title: Inspector – Fabrication/Assembly (Level B1 – M13BI4)
Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite)
Pay Range: $41/hr – $44/hr (Supplier range may vary)

Position Summary:
The Fabrication/Assembly Inspector will perform precision inspection of aircraft structures, assemblies, and components in alignment with aerospace quality standards. This role requires extensive experience in airframe inspection, blueprint interpretation, and compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. You will ensure that all parts and processes meet engineering, manufacturing, and customer specifications for the 737 Final Product Verification team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints, inspection manuals, and engineering specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools, inspection instruments, and specialized inspection equipment to verify part conformity.
- Perform inspection of processes, assemblies, and components, accepting or rejecting parts based on inspection criteria.
- Ensure compliance with Company Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain a strong working understanding of production processes and company specifications.
- Operate inspection/test machines and accurately calculate, document, and record results.
- Prepare and maintain all required quality records.
- Verify tools and equipment are qualified and properly calibrated.
- Plan own sequence of operations to complete tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal departments and customer representatives as needed.
- Support cross-training across equivalent inspector job codes.
- Maintain required certifications throughout the assignment.
Qualifications – Required
- Minimum 5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience.
- Strong blueprint-reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills.
- Experience with MS Office and SAP.
- Experience writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) / Tags.
- Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
- Ability to work heavy overtime when required.
- Must be prompt, reliable, and able to obtain & maintain all training certifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math and computing skills.
