Job Summary:
The Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the clearing and margining processes for derivatives-related trades. This role involves direct communication with brokers, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate trade processing, margin compliance, and resolution of discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of building strong working relationships while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with brokers, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
- Provide clearing and operational support to selected clients.
- Process trade files accurately and ensure all margin calls are issued by end of day.
- Oversee the daily margining process to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Monitor and mitigate daily risk by coordinating with clients regarding margin and settlement intentions.
- Track and resolve aging margin fails and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
- Identify and resolve trade and position breaks promptly.
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
