Job Summary
The .NET Architect/Lead will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance .NET application architectures on AWS. The role involves leading cloud adoption initiatives, modernizing legacy systems, implementing DevOps and automation practices, and providing technical leadership to development teams. This position requires extensive expertise in .NET technologies, AWS services, system design, and cloud-native application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create robust, scalable .NET application architectures on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Evaluate and implement AWS services such as API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and EKS to meet project requirements.
- Drive modernization efforts, including migration of on-premises .NET applications to AWS cloud-native or hybrid environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Lead technical design reviews, define coding standards, and mentor development teams.
- Develop architecture diagrams, deployment processes, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Candidate should have recent experience working as Lead or Architect
Candidate should have AWS Certification
Candidate should have strong experience in AWS services such as Glue
- 8–15 years of experience in software development with substantial experience in architecture roles.
- Deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, microservices, and design patterns.
- Proven proficiency with AWS services, including networking, security (IAM), and database technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading cloud migration or modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for IaC.
Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), if required or preferred by the project
