Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and treatment, including conducting examinations, diagnostic and treatment procedures, and administering medications.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with physician office procedures and medical terminology.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to common safety precautions.
- React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Identify and analyze problems, prioritize tasks, make quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions.
- Administer medications and treatments utilizing appropriate medical equipment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Active Practical Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of practical nursing principles, including the effects of medications and patient education practices.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Practical Nurse License.
