JOB SUMMARY
The Sealer will be responsible for sealing, filleting, faying, cap sealing, brush coating, and related tasks on major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench, and integral fuel cell components. This includes applying scotch cast, leveling compounds, aerodynamic seal, and conducting pressure tests while working from drawings, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established procedures. The company will provide necessary training to enable employees to perform all required functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Seal, fillet, fay, cap seal, brush coat major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and integral fuel cell components
- Apply scotch cast, leveling compounds, aerodynamic seal and perform pressure tests as per drawings and specifications
- Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, and sealing to quality requirements
- Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate sealer progression
- Perform pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing or check during or after seal progression
- Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments
- Report and investigate job handicaps such as errors, assembly procedures, tools, and sequences
- Support continuous product flow by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all classification levels
- Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure
- Temporarily attach parts/assemblies, install collars and other hardware not related to drilling or countersinking
Required Qualifications
- Experience with exterior aerodynamic sealing on major assemblies or large structures
- Ability to perform integral fuel cell sealing and related wing section sealing
- Must be able to work either shift
- Must be eligible for rehire at Boeing (can verify by calling 866-473-2016)
- Willingness to complete required training: SEA092, SEA083, ASY050, and standard online training

Prior sealing experience in aerospace or related manufacturing environment (aerodynamic seal and major assembly sealing experience required)
