Location: Novato, CA
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40/week
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Novato, CA. The ideal candidate will support clinical and administrative operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth day-to-day workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Provide assistance during medical procedures.
• Obtain all patient information required to meet regulatory obligations.
• Track the receipt of all results for all ordered tests.
• Ability to perform POCT as well as all quality controls.
• Communication and correspondence including lab results, prescription management, and referrals: Use electronic medical records and work off “task lists” to complete patient visits or requests

Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
• A Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA is required
• BLS
• Experience At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Re-processing/ procedural experience is highly preferred
