Field Service Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Service Technician based in Tacoma, WA to join their team and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate must have a reliable vehicle, valid license, and a clean MVR.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Associate's degree or its equivalent preferred
• CompTIA A certification (can obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum 0 to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• Works under immediate supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Must have strong people / customer service skills and be able to build relationships and rapport
• Strong written, communication, and documentation skills
• Must be able to work independently, is self-motivated and self-disciplined, and not afraid to ask questions if unsure about something
  
  

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $20.70 - $28.75 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
