Pay Rate

• CVOR Tech Salary Range: $27.36 – $32.83 – $38.30/hr (based on experience)

• OR Tech Salary Range: $24.87 – $29.85 – $34.82/hr (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (or grandfathered by the state)

• Active Surgical Technologist license / registration with the State of Virginia required

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

• Previous surgical tech experience preferred (1–2 years scrub or acute care hospital experience preferred)

• Open to considering general OR Techs willing to train/scrub specialty procedures

• Working knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and medical terminology

• Physical capability for frequent standing, bending, reaching, and moving/lifting equipment or patients up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and scrub surgical cases, maintaining strict sterile field integrity and surgical instrumentation handling

• Scrub specialized procedures including C-sections and cardiovascular/surgical cases as assigned

• Support obstetric patient care by demonstrating proficiency in registering, pre-registering, and processing patient documentation

• Perform infant testing and supportive clinical tasks under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse

• Inspect, maintain, and ensure the operational integrity and sterilization of physical equipment and operating room environments

• Utilize clinical electronic systems proficiently for documentation and tracking

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, circulating nurses, and multidisciplinary surgical teams
